To grow apace.
With the technology. With the customer.
The history of Facta (Latin for ‘actually, it happens’) is illustrative for the developments in the technology between the late 50s and now. Due to rapidly responding to new technological issues, Facta has become a skilled and experienced partner for industries and governments that offers 24/7 technical support to ensure the continuity of processes.
It started in 1958 in a closed garage in Driehuis with the serial winding of coils for washing machines. In the first years, the rapid growth of the company entailed two removals and a shift to service and maintenance (1964, Akersloot).
Since 1989, Facta is located in Uitgeest, where the organization has become a specialist company that serves clients in various market segments/sectors. In 1991 Facta became active in the (food) industry and the elevator industry through the acquisition of winding company Westinghouse from Zaandam. After that, Facta increasingly applied its expertise in pump techniques in water management; our work on pumping systems for waste water and the related service department resulted in the further growth of our company.
By adding expert and specialist businesses to our organization, we kept meeting the requests of our clients over the years. For example, in 2010 forces were joined with Fremo Wikkeltechniek from Noord Scharwoude, which meanwhile is fully integrated into our business. In 2013, Van Ham Aandrijftechniek from Vlaardingen, who offers activities at a high service level in the region of Rotterdam, was acquired.
