Facta keeps Amsterdam moving
In just one year, we installed over 57 new pump systems in Amsterdam metro stations for GVB. We also developed a tailored maintenance plan for the pumps and pumping stations. This helps keep the installations reliable and public transport running.
Maintenance with a dedicated project team
We assembled a project team comprising a project manager, a maintenance planner and a dedicated team of technicians. Our wastewater pump and pumping station specialists combine their expertise to tailor maintenance to GVB’s installations.
The maintenance plan provides the basis for the work and helps ensure reliable operation of the pumps and pumping stations.
Over 57 new pump systems
Through focused planning and the work of our technicians, we equipped the metro stations with over 57 new pump systems within one year. By replacing the systems and providing ongoing maintenance, we are supporting their availability for years to come.
Lower energy consumption
The new generation of pumps has reduced energy consumption and CO₂ emissions by more than 2 per cent. The project therefore also helps improve the sustainability of the installations.
Together with GVB Rail Services, we continue to maintain reliable pumps and pumping stations for Amsterdam’s metro system.
