Removal and installation of a basin and agitator

Theo Pouw Groep commissioned us to replace an existing basin and its agitator. The project brought together our structural and rotating equipment specialists.

Before work began

Our colleagues inspected the basin to assess the situation. It quickly became clear that complete replacement was needed. With the request to replace the basin as quickly as possible, our specialists got straight to work.

The work

Our installation team began by dismantling the old basin and agitator, completing this substantial task within a few days. We then immediately started installing the new basin. Our welders carefully joined the sections on site to form a complete structure.

Next came the new agitator. This was also fully assembled on site before being lowered into the basin in a single lift.

The result

A completely new basin and agitator, ready for years of reliable use. The basin is used to process and condition soil and sludge, crucial stages in Theo Pouw Groep’s sustainable recycling processes. The agitator keeps the material homogeneous, supporting efficient and stable processing.
