Managing your stock properly is an essential part of your business activities. After all, you want to be able to quickly exchange parts to minimize downtime. A business is continuously searching for the right balance between costs and risks. On the one hand, you never want to miss out, but on the other hand, there is a risk that parts will remain on the shelf and never be used.

Facta can help you determine the optimal required stock. We determine which drives and pumps are present in your production process and investigate the possibilities for standardization. We ensure an optimally balanced stock based on our joint criticality analysis. Facta’s own extensive stock plays a major role in this process and ensures a reduction of your Total Cost of Ownership.

STOCK MAINTENANCE

Your physical stock is managed at our location in a conditioned space. This is done in accordance with IEC60034-1 and the manufacturer’s instructions. Furthermore, your stock is maintained according to a fixed procedure. This includes the periodic turning of the shafts and taking measurements. If necessary, drives can also be tested before they are used.

Rotating machines degrade as a result of downtime. The damage that occurs during downtime is also called False Brinelling. False Brinelling refers to minor damage to the running surface of rolling bearings as a result of exposure to vibrations while stationary. Brinelling can be prevented by eliminating external vibration, and by applying or maintaining an optimal lubricating film with anti-wear additives. Eliminating the natural resonance is impossible and the focus is therefore on maintaining the lubricating film (turning).

Of course, we understand that you want to keep track of your stock at all times. You can log in to our Facta Customer Portal for this purpose. You will then have access to our database, which shows exactly which drives/parts are in stock. A technician is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to deal with any emergencies that may occur. Naturally, in addition to delivering the desired drive or parts, we can also install them.
