Managing and monitoring field measurements

Do you want to monitor measurements at a site without a permanent mains connection? With our UDSO Low Power, you can manage and monitor various types of field measurements. The telemetry module operates on battery or accumulator power, which can be supplemented by a solar panel. This enables you to take measurements even at remote locations.

Measuring without a fixed power supply

The UDSO Low Power is designed for independent field measurements. The module can be used for level measurements in groundwater, surface water and wastewater, flow measurements, ECV and chloride measurement, temperature, and oxygen. You can also measure meteorological data such as wind direction, wind speed, air pressure, humidity, and dew point.

Solar Measurement Tube for water levels and more

Our Solar Measurement Tube combines a solar panel with a UDSO telemetry unit. This measurement tube is mainly used for water level monitoring, but other types of sensors can also be connected.

By adding an extra measurement point, you can monitor both upstream and downstream levels at a weir. If the water exceeds a pre-set level, the system can generate an alarm or activate a nearby pumping station.

Combined sewer overflow meter

The UDSO overflow meter is suitable for measurements in sewer systems. The enclosure and seal are designed for reliable operation. Thanks to its low energy consumption, the module can record digital level measurements for years without battery replacement.

Remotely reading measurement data

You can access the data from the UDSO Low Power via, for example, a TMX-net Pro master station. This open telecontrol system is designed for remote management of technical installations and monitoring of measurement points.

You use the system via the internet in a secure environment or through locally installed software. TMX-net Pro enables you to measure, control, trigger alarms, log, and visualise data remotely.

Frequently asked questions

Does the UDSO Low Power require a fixed power supply?

No, the module operates on a battery or accumulator, optionally in combination with a solar panel. This means the UDSO Low Power can also be used at remote locations without a fixed power supply.

Which measurements are possible?

The module is suitable for measuring, among others, water level, flow rate, EC, chloride, temperature and oxygen. Various meteorological data can also be measured, such as wind speed, air pressure and humidity.

Can the Solar Monitoring Tube also issue an alarm or control a pumping station?

Yes, when the water level rises above a preset value, an alarm can be generated or an adjacent pumping station can be controlled. With an additional measurement, you can also monitor the upstream and downstream levels at a weir.

How can I read out the measurement data?

This can be done, for example, via a TMX-net Pro main station. You can view the data online in a secure environment or via locally installed software.
