We assess the technical condition and advise on repair, overhaul or replacement. Our specialists work on both standard and large, complex gearboxes for applications such as container cranes, conveyor systems, bridges and locks. As a service partner of Flender and Hansen, we carry out inspection and repair. We can also supply a new gearbox. If the drive needs to be removed and refitted, we handle removal, installation and commissioning. This means you can entrust both workshop repairs and on-site work to a single party.

Specialists in large and complex gearboxes

Not every gearbox can be repaired or overhauled in the same way. Alongside standard industrial drives, we also work on large and complex gearboxes for heavy-duty applications. Examples include gearboxes for bridges and locks, container cranes, conveyor systems and process plants. With our expertise, workshop facilities and lifting equipment, we handle gearboxes up to 15 tonnes. This enables us to inspect, overhaul, repair and replace both standard and heavily loaded drive systems.

When is a new gearbox required?

During the inspection, we assess the options for repair or overhaul. If neither is appropriate, we recommend a new gearbox, which we can supply, install and commission for you straight away.

Can Facta also remove and install existing gearboxes?

Yes, we take care of dismantling, repair or overhaul, re-installation and commissioning. When a replacement is needed, we can provide this entire service as well.
